I entered the field of software development in November 2006. I spent almost the next three years working full time on a general accounting system. During this time I gained a strong knowledge of the Java platform, domain modeling, databases, accounting, customer relations, software development lifecycle, Jaspersoft reporting, etc.

Starting in December 2009 I have had the opportunity to work on a large scale Rental & Inventory tracking software solution which has brought me solidly into web applications and the J2EE world. This experience has built on my prior experience adding significant experience in Adobe Flex, J2EE, domain modeling, customer relations, system administration, reporting and much more.

I have also had opportunities to work on small projects involving Jaspersoft reporting, ZK Ajax Framework, and even one on one technical tutoring.

My goal as a software developer is to stay on top of my field by constantly learning new things. A software developer's nemesis is getting behind the times. I have every intention to not let that happen.

On a more personal level, I am happily married to the love of my life. My wife & I have one little son, who I enjoy spending time with. We live in the state of Pennsylvania in the United States of America. I enjoy the great outdoors. To balance out the mental intensity of office life, I enjoy softball in the summer, table tennis in the winter months, and regular gym attendance.
